We would like to use this opportunity to inform you a little better about us.
My name is Susanne Steindl and I am breeding cats since 2006 under the regristed cattery name "de fait accompli". Animals are something really special for me and I treat them like this. They have a place deep in my heart. I am responsible for my cattery and our dog and I have help with words and deeds from my friend in life, Harald.
As a little child already I loved pets above all. I always had dogs and cats around me which made me really happy. As I decided to move to Switzerland it was clear pretty soon that we want to have some pets again. Our desicion was to start with cats which are only living indoor. So I started a long search over the Internet to find a suitable race for us. As I saw the Sacred Cat of Burma for the first time at a picture, I knew that this is the race we were looking for.
Since April 2005 two wonderful Birman pet cats were sharing our life. It was clear pretty soon that this race fascinates me really much. So I decided to take the hard job on me to breed this beautiful race. Therefore I regristed my cattery name "de fait accompli". Quality and animal-propriate thinking are the most important aspects in my cattery. So I don't make any precipitated decisions in buying my breeding cats. I search as long until I find a breeding cats who has the qualitative and typical temprametal behaviour for what I am looking for. Our household increased because we fullfilled our desire for an own stud and a breeding queen. Our stud boy came from a good australian cattery to us and our first breeding queen has good old german lines in her pedigree. Now in the year 2008 we are at the point to raise our first litter and enlarge our cattery professionally. We can proudly announce that three breeding queens are enlarging our cattery. Two are coming from a longtime, professional line-cattery and one adult breeding queen is coming from the Netherlands and has wonderful old australian and european lines in her pedigree.
Our dream of a big, modern house with own garden for us and our quadrupeds was fullfilled in September 2008 in the wonderful "Emmental". Now we have place on four floors and outside garden to host our animals as good as possible. Beside this reason our new home is a place for us to enjoy, relax and feel-good.
